Course Description:


The course takes a task-oriented approach to teaching the skills needed to deploy, configure, and administer CSA to protect server and workstation hosts.
Required Experience
Obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
Competency in using the Windows NT operating system
Be a CSS1 or have attained the Cisco Firewall Specialist and Cisco IDS Specialist and Cisco VPN Specialist certifications
At least six months practical experience configuring Cisco IDS Sensors
Familiarity with implementing network security policies and the following networking concepts: Perimeter security system components: perimeter router, firewall, bastion host/Servers and Hosts
