Connected Classroom Learning (CCL) is live, hands-on interactive training where you can either attend class in our training centers or from your location. Your instructor will be presenting from a classroom with students. Students attending remotely are able to interact with the instructor and other students usually through video and voice conferencing. This enables the remote students to effectively learn just as if they were present in the instructor’s classroom, do all hands-on exercises and labs, view the whiteboard, take part in lectures, as well as receive personal assistance from the instructor.

What to Expect in a CCL Class
Typically, you'll attend a CCL class at one of our training centers or from your home or office. The classrooms in our locations contain special equipment and software to connect you to the live class at another location. Often there will be other students participating in the same location with you.
In most circumstances, it's possible to attend one of our CCL classes from a location outside of our training centers such as your home or office. If participating from your home or office is right for you, we'll provide you with all the information you need to get set up for your class. Typical setup time is less than 20 minutes -- that's time you'll get back by not having to commute to the class, not to mention the cost savings of no travel!
The CCL Classroom Experience
A CCL class is hands-on, instructor-led training. Your workstation in the instructor’s classroom will have the course software loaded and you will be provided with the manual and other materials for the course. The training is live and interactive.
In a CCL class you will be able to:
- View the Instructor’s Presentation - You will be able to see the Instructor’s lecture slides.
- Listen and Participate – You will be able to hear your instructor and other students while participating with them.
- View the Instructor and other students – In most circumstances, you will be able to view your instructor and fellow students.
- Get help from the Instructor – Your instructor can see everything you are doing during hands-on labs and exercises. They can easily assist you on your lab machine with all tasks.
Attending from Your Home or Office
When you attend a CCL class from your home or office, you'll be using remote desktop technology to control a PC in the instructor’s classroom. So even if you don't have the course software, you can still participate. At a minimum, you'll need the following components:
- A computer running Microsoft Windows 2000 or greater
- A high speed Internet connection (DSL or faster)
- A speaker phone or a hands-free headset for your telephone
