The Help Desk Technician program prepares students to provide computer support to
computer system users. Students will be exposed to computer hardware, software and
networking fundamental concepts. They will acquire professional skills required
to successfully support end users using methodical, standards-based approaches.
This program involves large amounts of hands-on activities with computer hardware
and software. Students will learn general computer concepts, professional help desk
skills and Microsoft Windows installation and support procedures.
Industry certifications achieved include: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified
Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) and many
more.
