We've expanded our training portfolio to include critical business and interpersonal curricula - enabling our customers to develop a workforce specifically skilled to meet all their strategic business goals. Because we uncover a full spectrum of needs in the training industry, we choose to collaborate with industry experts to deliver the best possible solutions to our clients.

New Horizons has spent a great deal of time evaluating prospective national curriculum vendors and partners. Because of the importance we place on our vendor partnerships our authorized courses are taught only by vendor certified instructors. We offer only vendor developed and approved curriculum in our authorized classes and maintain state of the art hardware and software in our classrooms and labs to support our vendor's requirements. We also limit class size to ensure open interaction and quality instruction and regularly maintain all vendor relationships in order to keep our programs and courseware current.

Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions	Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS) have attained the highest level of partnership for Microsoft Learning Partners. This credential establishes New Horizons Albany - Tech Valley as the only Microsoft Gold CTEC in many of our regions and recognizes our outstanding performance among CPLSs. Our Gold designation certifies our staff as experts in Microsoft products and benefits our customers because we can offer wider access to Microsoft products, participation in selected product and services beta programs, and the potential for volume-based discounts, such as the Software Assurance program. Novell Gold Training Partner	Novell Gold Training partners are provided with all the latest Novell subscriptions and resources as well as access to the latest software to stay up to date with Novell products. Resources are provided to ensure that the hardware and the technology used are supported by Novell’s latest training products. New Horizons also employs CNIs (Certified Novell Instructors) on staff to present training. These instructors ensure that the training delivered will meet with the criteria Novell sets forth for its Gold level partners. Novell also requires its partners to offer the “Metrics that Matter” evaluation tool which measures the overall quality of the training experience. Cisco understands the learning expertise held by qualified partners and has always been interested in aligning its technical training delivery with the very best organizations. New York State Licensed Proprietary School	The Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision (BPSS) oversees and monitors non-degree granting proprietary schools in New York State. The Bureau is responsible for ensuring that the overall educational quality of the programs offered will provide students with the necessary skills to secure meaningful employment and for protecting students' financial interests while attending proprietary schools. BPSS licenses/registers proprietary schools and credentials proprietary school teachers to ensure that appropriate standards are met. The Bureau investigates student complaints and conducts comprehensive investigations of schools to assure compliance with Education Law and Commissioner's Regulations. North Carolina Licensed Proprietary School	Proprietary Schools are for-profit businesses which provide education and training. They may be privately owned, a partnership or a corporation. Under Article 8 of North Carolina General Statutes 115D, the State Board of Community Colleges is charged with the responsibility of licensing certain proprietary business, trade, and correspondence schools in North Carolina. The purpose is to assure prospective and enrolled students and citizens of North Carolina that proprietary schools operating in North Carolina meet minimum standards of quality in their operation. Pennsylvania Private Licensed School	The PA Private Licensed Schools Act, Act 174 of 1986, created a single State Board of Private Licensed Schools with the authority to license and regulate private career and trade schools. The intent of the legislation is to provide consumer protection, facilitate the investigation of complaints, provide for regulatory compliance visits, and to facilitate the collection of statistical data on private licensed schools. The purpose of the Board's regulations is to: (1) establish minimum standards and procedures for licensing and registration of schools; (2) determine levels and forms of financial responsibility; (3) establish procedures for denial, suspension, or revocation of licenses or registrations; (4) establish qualifications for instructors and administrators; and (5) establish procedures for the imposition of penalties.
